Spring Calving Underway!

New for 2013:  BeaverTree Farm will provide full genetic parentage verification (sire & dam qualified) for every calf born on the farm this year. We have completed genotyping every female in our herd. This commitment provides exceptional genetic value to our customers!  Every calf will be registered with the ADCA, some also be registered with Legacy.

2012 American Dexter Cattle Association National Champion and Reserve Champion Females - Youth Division.

    BeaverTree Farm was honored by the selection of two females as national youth champions.  In addition, every animal we entered in a youth class was awarded first place and one heifer won her class in the adult show.  Thanks to all the folks who stopped by and looked at our animals for your kind comments.  Almost every one of the heifers/cows that we took to the 2012 AGM are now bred to our herd sire Midas and will calve in the Spring or Fall of 2013.  We anticipate a good mix of red, dun, and black calves with slightly more than 50% being polled and approximately 25% being short-legged.  If you are interested in one of our calves in 2013, we encourage you to contact us early to discuss your goals as their availabilty will be VERY limited.
